2. Click "turn windows features on or off"
3. Enable "telnet cilent" it might take a while.
4. After it's done, go to Command Prompt.
5. Type "telnet towel.blinkenlights.nl"
6. Enjoy what comes next!

This would probably be cooler if I had seen Star Wars. Still pretty awesome though!
Who ever made it was a fan of the Hitch hiker's guide to the Galaxy ("so long, and thanks for all the fish" and the name "towel" both are references).
This is really, really old. I'm surprised you haven't seen it yet.
I was just surfing around. I knew it was old, because the information about it was several years old, and I knew people would say it was old, but chances are at least ONE person didn't know about it.
I didn't. That was pretty cool.
The have a few other things on different ports, try some other numbers and see what you find.
