I just want to say that i'm sorry of this spambots filling this site with spam. It's horrible.
If I can help in a way or another, just tell.
I already applied for being a moderator on this site. Who knows, if there'll be more mods here, it could be easier to cleanup. Daxar already told that the problem is that megaban and ip blocking is still being implemented by davidc. Meanwhile, I and others, like puggsoy, AP and momo could help.
I also think that the signup system is being improved: I can't recall if captcha is implemented or not. Hopefully, once that and a better banning system are done, there should be less of a spam problem.
I don't think more moderaters are needed at the moment though, at least not until people start modding LI.
I'll wait until people start modding LI then : )
There is irony in a thread about spam, being spammed.
It really is. (they shouldn't remove the spam from this thread)
Actually the spam SHOULD be removed because it is advertising illegal and counterfeit products, and allowing it could cause your website legal liability.
Looks like this forum has been abandoned completely - shame.
Two days and half a million spam posts later, we're back...
I've installed Mollom, let's see if that helps.

I am so glad it's fixed.
Same here! When all that spam started clogging up the forum, I stopped visiting for a while since looking for useful posts wasn't worth the effort.
Hopefully now the forum will become more lively, and perhaps we can creep closer to modding the game!
Kind of a side sugg for later: it would be nice if you could upvote posts. And maybe if it kept the number of upvotes under your "online/offline" status.
