What would your dream DLC be? Is there any themed catalogs you'd like to see?
Apart from the obvious more catalogs and combos one, i'd like to be able to buy stuff for the background, i could get my curtains back, maybe change the colour of them, you could maybe change what the bricks are to maybe concrete or metal.
So what about you lot?
Release the source code. Heh heh!
That's a good idea, I hadn't actually thought of that (talking about moo's idea not Mygod's). That would be pretty cool, being able to customize your fireplace.
Personally I can't think of anything much I'd want that won't (probably) be possible through modding. I'm just looking forward to new items and stories.
It would be pretty cool to see some sort of online multiplayer feature though, where people can burn stuff together.
I'm personally a strong advocate for releasing source code, myself, since I like hacking stuff. But I don't think releasing the source anytime soon would be a good idea. I'd say wait a year at the very least. Depends on how quickly they get the game ported to all the platforms they want and how sharply sales drop off.
Of course, if they used some kind of closed-source third-party libraries, I'll go outside and howl at the moon in rage. Well, maybe not. But something close. In any case, I'd say wait a while before releasing source.
As for DLC, I'd personally rather have the game ported to Mac/Linux/iOS/Android/whatever else before more game content. I know a lot of people on TC's blog have been asking about the Mac port, far more than have been asking for DLC. Don't get me wrong; more content for the game would be great, I just don't think that it should be a priority right now.
oh i completely agree daxar, it shouldnt be a priority right now id rather they release it on all platforms first, i personally cant want for ios, i dont know if its confirmed whether theyre releasing for ios or not but if they release world of goo on ios, im sure a game like little inferno wouldnt be a problem.
puggsoy id love multiplayer for little inferno, but i am 100% it wont happen, i dunno why i just cant see them doing it.
im kinda upset that this game isnt that fleshed out, if they added more features in general and a bit more to do this game could build a decent community and live for a while, but the game is a bit too simple for there to be a community that stays around, id love to see a little inferno 2 (which i doubt) that is much more fleshed out.
If they did a sequel (which i doubt too.) I don't think there would be more stuff to burn. Maybe its going to be a point and click adventure game. As for DLC i want some bug fixes, more interaction with the items and a custom soundtrack.
