Game won't start in iOS 7.0.4

I can't get past the "Tomorrow" start up screen on either my iPad 2 or iPhone 5c. It's not crashing but it's not playing either. I am able to tap past the "warning" screen at the start, and then tap to extinguish the match, and that's it, it just doesn't do anything after that. I have tried deleting the game and reinstalling. I have tried restarting and also made sure no other apps are running. Is this a known issue that can be resolved?
Thanks!
p.s. I have played the game to it's conclusion, loved it, and now want to play with my daughter. She's very sad that it won't work.
Thanks again!

When you played it first, where you on a different iOS? I don't know too much about the technical errors of this game, but I can try to help until a more experienced user arrives.

Yeah, I think when I first bought and installed the game back in 2013 it was on a previous version. Hard to say exactly which one though. The fact that it wouldn't run on to different devices, both running 7.0.4 is what made me think it was some new compatibility issue with the OS.

Hmm.

I've personally had the same issue every now and then on my iTouch 4th gen, but I thought it was just due to it being, well, an old iPod.

For me, when it stops working like that, I double-tap the home button and remove Little Inferno from my recently used apps (Which clears it from the device's RAM), then launch it again. You could also try clearing all of your recently used apps from this screen before launching, just so there's the maximum amount of RAM available.

The odds of it hanging seem to be a lot lower if I wait at the match-burning screen for a little while (Like 5-10 seconds or so) before tapping. I have no idea if it actually helps or not, but it seems to.

As far as an actual fix for it, I have no idea. I tend to find hackish workarounds to things instead of actual fixes just because I'm that kind of person. You can drop them a line at Contact at TomorrowCorporation.com, and one of them may respond to see if they can fix the issue.
