Some Mollom problems

I was trying to post something, but Mollom blocked my post without even asking me for a captcha, because I had a link in my post.

I don't know, is there a way to whitelist users or something like that?

I noticed that too, it's quite annoying. I wouldn't mind it if it had a whitelist feature.

Found a workaround for this:
1. Make a post that Mollom wouldn't block (no links, spam words etc.)
2. Press Edit
3. ???
4. Profit!

Well, what words does Mollom think are spam?

Edit: apparently, this post.

Posting to see if it blocks it.

EDIT: apparently not.

I can't really see a way around this without disabling Mollom for all registered users. I was hoping there would be a module where I can auto-assign a role when account reaches a certain age, but I can't find one.

If this happens again to a legitimate message, send me an e-mail with:

1) your username
2) exact date and time it occurred - make sure you mention your timezone!
3) content of the message

and I'll raise a support request with Mollom

Mygod, Mollom came back and said "Mollom blocked these posts as spam because the dropbox urls are suspicious.".

I've set your account to bypass Mollom restrictions. I can do this for anyone else who is having problems.

Mollom doesn't exactly remove my posts, but just forces me to fill in the captcha-esque form almost every single time.

^It does this for me too. Usually it's only the first time per browser session, I think (not exactly sure though, I only visit once a day). It's not a real bother but does get a bit tedious.

Hi Puggsoy sorry if i asked, i knew you were talking about going to make a tool for modding like gootool so what stopping you?

is it because time? money? or something else?

Oh yeah, sorry about that. The main reason is time, I've got my hands full with school, stuff at home, and I'm also helping code a game so that's where most of my free time goes.

I'm pretty sure Movildima said he'd make a modding tool though? As far as I know he already started on it.

I have made a lot of progress on my programm, actually!
Here's a screenshot: http://i58.tinypic.com/k3ue5j.png

I'm trying to make it as GooTool-like as possible, to be simple and similar to GooFans and such. It works in almost the same way as GooTool, but it depends on liTools for installing and merging addins.

Looks very nice Movildima! It's a good idea to try and make modding LI as similar to modding WoG as possible.

@23boy: It's a mobile game called Pipeworks. I probably shouldn't clog up this thread about it (it's already quite derailed), but I'll make a new thread in Pictures of Your Hat about it.

@23boy: I forget the specifics, but Little Inferno items are a LOT more complicated than Goo Balls in World of Goo. Suffice it to say that in World of Goo you could just add folders with new files inside of them, and could copy original Goo Balls to make new ones, but with Little Inferno, you have to calculate a lot of important fields and rebuild item manifest files. It shouldn't be impossible, but it's far from easy, and I still have far too much going on to feel really motivated about picking up liTools again... :/

No, don't give up Daxar, you can do it! Maybe not now, but later. If you have more important stuff to do, you don't have to continue to work on liTools right now. Just don't give up on it!
