Valkyrie doll song

I really liked the valkyrie doll's singing and I was wondering if it belongs to some kind of genre and if there are similar songs. I tried searching here and there and found nothing so I hope that someone here can help me. Thank you in advance!

I can't really think of much else than opera. If you haven't already you should try listening to some opera songs, and see if they fit the style you're looking for.

It resembles one of the songs from World of Goo's soundtrack, the Screamer one exactly.
